Safety
Safe by default, not by upgrade
Every feature on this page is on every account, including the free one. Nothing that keeps you safe is ever held back for people who pay, and nobody can buy a badge here. Below is what is in place, what it actually proves, and - just as importantly - what it does not.
If you only read one thing on this page, read the last card. Meeting in public the first time and telling somebody where you are going does more than any feature we could build.
1. Every safety feature is free
Verification, private packets, reviews, reporting and blocking are on every account, including the free one. Nothing that keeps you safe is ever held back for people who pay. If a feature exists to protect you, you already have it. That is a deliberate contrast with the apps that sell you unlimited swipes and a see-who-liked-you meter while the thing you actually need, knowing who you are meeting, stays broken.
2. Reaching people is what costs
The three paid tiers exist to widen who you can see, and to filter your feed harder. That has a side effect worth stating plainly: running a farm of fake accounts is not worth it here, because an account that can only see the free tier has nothing to harvest. On the big apps, bots are profitable. Here they are a cost with no return. The fee is a moat around you, not a tax on you.
3. Claims are checked, and the badge says which
Email, phone, liveness selfie, government ID, proof of address, employment, income and net worth are separate checks. Nobody can imply they have more verification than they actually do, because a profile lists precisely which steps were completed. A liveness check is required before you can message or ask for packets.
4. Nothing intimate moves without your grant
Media and review packets are requested, and you accept or decline. Once granted, they are readable for at most 72 hours and 10 opens. You can revoke at any moment, and every open is logged with a time and an identity. Blocking someone cancels every grant between you, in both directions, straight away.
5. What screenshot protection really does
We are not going to pretend to do the impossible. No website anywhere can stop a second phone pointed at a screen. What we do: your media never gets a public link, right-click and drag are disabled, selecting and copying is blocked, printing produces nothing, the page blurs when it loses focus, and every image carries the viewer's name across it. Somebody who passes your packet on leaves a trail that names them.
6. Behaviour is scored, not assumed
Signups get checked against disposable email lists, repeated devices and IP patterns. Messages get scanned for scam scripts, payment requests and attempts to move you off the platform, which are slowed down for new accounts. Flags add up to a risk score, and a high enough score suspends the account for a person to look at.
7. A person reads every report
Reports are queued by severity. Anything involving a safety concern or a possible minor goes to the front and is never handled by automation. The person you reported is never told who reported them.
8. You can always leave
Blocking is mutual and instant. You can see everyone who has opened your packets. Deleting your account removes your profile, your media and your answers, and you keep access to the record of what you consented to.
9. Strangers see an avatar, not your photos
By default your real photos open only to people you match with. Until then everyone sees a realistic avatar that is yours alone, always labelled “AI avatar” so nobody mistakes it for a photograph. Nobody outside your matches can reverse-image-search, scrape or misuse your actual pictures.
10. Hide from the people you choose
List an ex, a colleague or a neighbour by email, phone, or a name plus details, and you become invisible to each other - in browsing, in likes and by profile link - including if they join later. We store only a keyed hash, and the list never reveals whether someone is a member.
11. A friend knows where you are
Before a date, write down who, where and when, and send a private check-in link to someone you trust. If you have not checked in by the time you set, their page says so and tells them what to do. Venue and notes are encrypted.
12. Scam warnings where you read
Messages matching known scam patterns - money requests, crypto pitches, pressure to switch apps - carry a safety note for the person receiving them, with one tap to report. The same checks are in our free scam checker, which works on messages from any app.
